It runs in your browser: nothing you enter is sent anywhere or kept. Private limited companies; the rules are GOV.UK’s, linked beside each date.
How each deadline is worked out
| Deadline | Rule | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Confirmation statement | Up to 14 days after each 12-month review period ends | GOV.UK |
| First accounts | 21 months after the company registered | GOV.UK |
| Later accounts | 9 months after the financial year ends | GOV.UK |
| Corporation Tax payment | 9 months and 1 day after the accounting period ends (profits up to £1.5 million) | GOV.UK |
| Company Tax Return | 12 months after the accounting period ends | GOV.UK |
| VAT return and payment | One calendar month and 7 days after the VAT period ends | GOV.UK |
| P11D and Class 1A | Report by 6 July; pay Class 1A by 22 July | GOV.UK |
Weekends and bank holidays. If a Corporation Tax deadline falls on a weekend or bank holiday, the payment must reach HMRC on the last working day before it, unless you pay by Faster Payments through online or telephone banking (GOV.UK).
A month-end year end moves to the corresponding month’s end: accounts for a year ending 30 June are due on 31 March. If your first accounts cover more than 12 months, HMRC splits that time into two accounting periods with Corporation Tax dates of their own, so check those in your HMRC online account. Your Companies House and HMRC accounts always have the final word.
