This website
We always count page views without cookies: the page path, the referring site’s domain (or, when there is none, the campaign tag in the link you followed, such as utm_source) and the date are added to a counter in our own database. Signing up is counted the same way, a step at a time: the form shown, sent and the account made. Nothing identifies you.
If you choose Accept analytics in the banner, we also load Google Tag Manager, which runs Google Analytics 4. Google Ireland Limited then processes the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device and browser, and your approximate location, and may transfer it outside the UK. Advertising features are off. If you choose No thanks, or ignore the banner, nothing is loaded from Google.

Your choice itself is kept in your browser’s local storage (radar-consent), so we don’t ask again on every page. To change it, use . Withdrawing consent stops Google Analytics and deletes its cookies.
Research surveys
If a research panel invited you to a survey of ours, we keep the answers you gave and the participant number the panel put in your link, which only the panel can connect to you. We do not ask for or keep your name, your email address or your IP address, and the survey page sets no cookies and uses no outside analytics. We count how many people reach each step of the survey, as totals with nothing that identifies anyone. Answers are read only as totals, to decide what Radar should cost, and are deleted within twelve months of the survey closing.

The app also uses your browser’s local storage to remember small interface preferences (such as which tab you last used). That never leaves your device. The app uses no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies.
