Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-09-18. This describes the Radar beta operated at https://putitonmyradar.com. If you self-host Radar, you are the controller of your own data and this page is a template for your own policy.

Who we are

Radar OS (“Radar”, “we”) is operated by TION. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].

What we collect

Marketing site

  • Beta access requests: name, email, company, role and what you tell us about your work. You get a personal share link, and if someone signs up through it we record that you referred them, so we can credit you.
  • Cookie-less page counts: the page path, the referring site’s domain and the date. No cookies, no identifiers, no IP storage.
  • Google Analytics, only if you accept it in the cookie banner: pages visited, how you arrived, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected by Google Ireland Limited through Google Tag Manager. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Advertising features are off. See Cookies.

The application

  • Account: name, email, password hash (Argon2id), workspace membership, sessions (device description, IP, times).
  • Radar-owned data: commitments (including repeating ones and their reminder settings), quick tasks, goals and issues, habits and their completion history, preferences, notifications, onboarding answers, the areas of life you choose, and which Life setup questions you have answered.
  • Connected systems: encrypted credentials and OAuth tokens, plus a working cache of items from those systems — calendar events, message metadata and previews, tasks, activities, opportunities and contacts.
  • Company knowledge: website pages you ask Radar to read and documents you upload.
  • AI drafts: the draft, your final text and whether you edited it, kept as an audit trail.
  • Feedback you send: the note you type into the Feedback box, with your name, email, workspace, the page you were on, your screen size and browser, so we can understand and reply to it.
  • Product analytics: privacy-conscious usage events (which features are used, not their contents) stored in Radar’s own database. No third-party analytics service is used in the application.

Why

To provide the service you asked for: showing what matters across your systems, and letting you act on it. Beta access requests are used only to run the beta. Our lawful bases are performance of a contract (running the service) and legitimate interests (keeping it secure and improving it).

Where it lives

On servers we control in the United Kingdom, or on your own server if you self-host. Credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Email, calendar, CRM and ERP records remain owned by those providers; Radar keeps only the cache described above.

What is sent to OpenAI

Only when you ask for a draft in the AI workbench, and only: the email you opened, up to four earlier messages in that thread, the linked opportunity’s headline fields (title, value, currency, stage, close date, probability, next activity), up to three recent CRM notes, matching passages from your company knowledge, your role and your preferred tone. Radar sets store: false so OpenAI does not retain the response for later retrieval. If AI drafting is switched off or no key is configured, nothing is sent.

How long we keep it

  • Cached provider email and mentions: 30 days.
  • AI draft bodies: 90 days, then replaced with a record that a draft was sent.
  • Notifications: 60 days.
  • Usage events: up to 24 months.
  • Account data: until you delete your account.

Your choices

  • Export everything Radar owns about you as JSON from Settings → Privacy.
  • Disconnect any provider and purge everything cached from it.
  • Delete your account — and any workspace where you are the only member — permanently, from Settings → Privacy.
  • Ask us to correct anything, or complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Sharing

We do not sell data or use it for advertising. Sub-processors are limited to what makes the service work: OpenAI (only the context above, only when you request a draft) and your own email provider for system emails. Providers you connect receive only the requests Radar makes on your behalf.
